A Letter to All Women

by Sara Harris , BHSc, Cert. NFE

Recently, I had a session with an Esoteric Breast Massage practitioner and I felt something quite amazing in my body. I was able to let go and allow myself to just be me and in that, there was such a beautiful feeling of equalness between us. This allowed for so much more tenderness and I felt how natural it is to be this way, supporting one another, instead of my putting others higher or above, which keeps us separate. I wrote that evening as the feeling kept unfolding and it was like I was remembering how we, as women, used to be with each other. There were so many tears as I felt how we have the potential to hold each other and ourselves in the absolute sacredness that we are, and how beautiful and natural it is for us to be this way. So I am sharing what I wrote with you all, which ended up being a message for myself and for all women.

Beautiful Women,

It is an honour to be with you. I am in awe of the grandness that we are – of you and of me. When I simply let go and allow myself to be in equalness with you, I am so deeply touched by how much tenderness there is between us. My body is ready and you support me to go there – and when your body is ready, I can do the same. The love that we are bears no comparison, for we are of the same great love and of the same great light – you are my mother, my sister, my daughter, my lover – whoever you are, in essence we are the same great beauty. And in expression of this great beauty, we have our own way, and I honour this in you and I honour it in me – equally so. For how could I not appreciate another reflecting my own grandness back, to remind me of who I am? Thank you for your constant reflection – it is a joy and it is a blessing. So please don’t hold back if I forget – be all that you are, the true woman that you know. Just allow her to be, for she is so beautiful and amazing just as she is. When I let go and just simply be myself, I see you shining and I am inspired – this is true inspiration. And when you dim the amazing light that you are, if I simply let go and just let myself be, it is natural for me to support you, to shine brighter than ever before to remind you that you are truly divine and powerful beyond measure. We have supported each other in this way before. This is our natural way, to be in absolute equalness with each other and to truly honour and support one another just by being with each other. It is time that we rest, deeply so, and let go, to allow ourselves to truly be together once more.

With Love, Sara

  1. When we feel and express the love and beauty that we are as a woman this inspires another, and another, and another to equally be aware of the sacredness of their essence.

  2. A beautiful message Sara, we hold and inspire each other equally when we live in connection to the truth of who we are in essence and express this beauty in full with each other.

  3. Thank you, the other day I said something that exposed the fact that I was holding myself less than another person. This blog supports me in re-membering that we are actually in absolute equalness to each other in essence and in and from this essence is where I can live.

    1. The recognition of where we are not holding ourselves in equality with others is so exposing of how we sabotage the awesomeness that we all come from and don’t allow that to be reflected to others to light our return to living in sisterhood and brotherhood.

  4. Beautiful to feel more tenderness and how natural it is to support one another, ‘This allowed for so much more tenderness and I felt how natural it is to be this way, supporting one another, instead of my putting others higher or above, which keeps us separate.’

  5. Absolutely beautiful Sara. This should be shared with the world. I am impressed when now and then I read a piece where just one line captures it all but, to read many sentiences all capturing the same thing in essence represents where the words come from. An ever-expanding way that is who we are.

  6. It has been lovely to read through the comments from so many different women appreciating the heartfelt call to return to our true way of being with each other, in honour and support of each other, banishing jealousy and comparison and deepening our love and care for ourselves and each other.

  7. This is a beautiful call to action to dismantle the layers of protection that we have built up that prevent us from coming together and supporting and inspiring each other. Your appreciation for all women shines out and touches me deeply as I feel the potential of women around the world reflecting to each other the way forward.

  8. Thank you Sara for sharing the deeply inspirational love letter, which you have written to all women…. I love how you highlight that we are all one and come from the same source, and that our natural way is to live in sisterhood with each other. This is the message I will take away having been inspired by the gorgeous blog.

  9. A deeply loving offering for us all, thank you Sara, there is so much we all have to offer each other, not through trying but through uncovering and allowing ourselves be more true to who we are in essence.

  10. Letting go of judgement and comparison and allowing ourselves to be naturally equal feels so beautiful, ‘When I simply let go and allow myself to be in equalness with you, I am so deeply touched by how much tenderness there is between us’.

  11. ” in essence we are the same great beauty. ”
Yes , we all come from the same source and therefore from great beauty.

  12. What you share in this blog Sara is very beautiful, and yes ‘ I felt how we have the potential to hold each other and ourselves in the absolute sacredness that we are, and how beautiful and natural it is for us to be this way.’

  13. Such a beautiful letter. This part touched me deeply – “This is our natural way, to be in absolute equalness with each other and to truly honour and support one another just by being with each other” as it would seem to be rarely lived.

  14. When we honour ourselves with the tenderness we are, we offer that equally to others, how beautiful and supporting, simply by choosing to honour ourselves and the love that we are.

    1. I agree Sally, when a women honours herself in her delicateness, fragility and tenderness, this is a blessing and a beautiful reflection not only to women, but also to men.

  15. The true togetherness of women in true sisterhood is an inspiration to behold, one that ignites every aspect of my being with appreciation of the power of who we all innately are. When we surrender to our divine way of being we naturally can come together to support, inspire, confirm and celebrate the sacredness, the power we gracefully are all here to live.

  16. Beautifully said Sara, when we move and express in this loving way there is no room for any comparison or jealousy between women.

  17. Beautiful Sara,
Thank you for writting this letter of true love for all.
I’m realizing the protection and judgment that I actually use to live with in my relationship with other women. Your sharing melts all of this away…by my choice of restore my natural way of being with myself and others. It invites me to drop in to my heart to see that we can deeply rest by holding each other in the equallity of love that we come from.

  18. An incredibly beautiful message for all women, we are sisters and we can be supportive and inspirational for each other and ourselves. I Love what you share here, rise each other up, not bring each other down.

  19. There is nothing more beautiful than us being who we are and supporting each other to come out in full, for each flower that blooms, blooms for us all.

    1. “…for each flower that blooms, blooms for us all.” Beautifully said Nicola, the beauty that we see in others is equally in us. That’s why holding onto comparison has not make sense.

  20. A beautiful reminder to shine brightly for we are indeed truly divine and powerful beyond measure and us playing anything less than that denies the world a light that is desperately needed and a reflection that people need to see to reawaken their own potential.

  21. “This allowed for so much more tenderness and I felt how natural it is to be this way, supporting one another,” The power of true sisterhood.

  22. Even though this is at the moment not how we are living as women together it is great to feel that definitely we have done this in the past so we can bring that back now.

  23. The equality of true love – a gorgeous reminder that we all feel it all of the time and when we remove the barriers of jealousy and comparison we melt into each other and reflect our glorious divinity.

  24. Many times in the Esoteric Yoga Stillness Programs for Women I have felt this feeling of deep love of being in connection to my body and your letter feels like that deep connection joyfully coming out and sharing with another. It was beautiful to read, Thank you Sara.

  25. I love the first line of your letter – “It is an honour to be with you” – honour is the perfect word, it really is a deep honour to be here with so many amazing people. Thank you for reminding me to appreciate what is all around me.

  26. Thank you Sara, your last line really struck a chord “It is time that we rest, deeply so, and let go, to allow ourselves to truly be together once more.” I haven’t always been supported by other women, and I cannot say that I have supported women always either, and what this brings up is exhaustion, tension and a lack of feeling at ease. It feels so unnatural for us to be individual, self focused and uncaring of others, and my body reflects the stress of how living in a collective like this feels. We could easily turn this around by starting with ourselves.

  27. I have felt this occasionally and it does feel really lovely, ‘there was such a beautiful feeling of equalness between us.’
